Beach Class Updates

*I have been offering early morning beach yoga on south shore Georgian Bay twice a week for a number of summers.  I am looking forward to experiencing the Victoria and area beaches, which are new to me :)

A NOTE ABOUT SUMMER 2015 BEACH YOGA CLASSES: As this instructor will be away for several weeks at Summer Solstice Celebration, and then possibly away on a course, scheduled sunrise beach yoga classes may experience a few gaps in the schedule. (or possibly, a certified sub can be engaged).  Watch for postings in May.   Of course, you can always contact me and request a session.  Get a small group of interested yogis together, and if I am available, I’ll be there for you!

* Check here for last minute updates, (posted no later than 6:00 a.m.) regarding the weather or elder care emergency resulting in a class cancellation….

* Any earlier known cancellations will also be posted here, for your convenience, though none are anticipated….

Preparing for class:
* dress comfortably, in layers, as some mornings warm up quickly and others can be a bit cool
*bring a water bottle: hydration enhances the benefits of yoga
*bring a non-slip exercise mat, or beach towel/blanket to work and rest on
*bring a small blanket or second towel to cover up with for cooldown and meditation
*a small folded towel or pillow is often helpful for those who may have back or knee discomfort when sitting on the mat
